 After School and Track Out Programs
FunScience after school enrichment programs are designed
to give children ages 5-11, a new knowledge and understanding
of science. The one hour programs explore topics such as
space, chemistry, physics and detective science. Children
become active learners and participants in our activities—using
the discovery approach to learning—with our hands-on
learning activities and investigations. Some of the activities
include building star constellations out of marshmallows,
testing the ph of different liquids or making a bowl of atmosphere
soup. Our teaching methods help to develop confidence by
answering your child’s questions and fostering creativity
through new ideas. FunScience instructors are trained as
both teachers and scientists, and make learning fun, imaginative
and exciting!

 Preschool Programs
FunScience preschool programs are imaginative, safe, and
engaging hands-on science investigations and activities for
preschool children. The dynamic programs provide opportunities
for children to interact with the instructors. This allows
the young child to be an active participant in the program.
Puppets, interactive simple experiments, touchables, models,
and demonstrations are also used to further teach the children
the science concepts that are being taught. Whether they
are wearing butterfly wings, flitting from flower to flower
as a butterfly, role playing being a butterfly collecting
nectar, or watching a bubble bounce off the floor, the children
will truly be amazed by our preschool programs.
